The Delta Zeta Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Inc. (Durham Alumni chapter) was chartered on January 4th, 1961 for the purpose of serving the Durham community and the surrounding areas.
Since 1961, the chapter has continued to serve the Durham community. The chapter has assisted with the political process (voter registration & voter education), worked with local youth and has been on the forefront tackling many health and socioeconomic issues affecting members of the Durham community.
